Stop fake signups on your Webflow forms
Paste one line into your Webflow site and every form with an email field is checked when it's sent. Throwaway addresses, typos and domains that can't receive email are stopped, with a suggested fix for typos.
If BounceLayer is slow or down, the form still sends, so you never lose a real signup. Remove the line any time to turn it off.
How to set it up

Create a widget key
In your BounceLayer dashboard, open Signup Widget, add your Webflow domains (for example yoursite.com and yoursite.webflow.io) and create a key. The Free mode checks typos, throwaway and dead domains at no cost; Full also checks the mailbox for 1 credit per check.

Add the snippet to your site's footer code
In Webflow, open Site settings → Custom code → Footer code and paste your snippet. Custom code needs a paid Webflow site plan. To add it to one page only, use that page's settings → Custom code → Before </body> tag.

Publish and test
Publish the site, then send your form once with a throwaway address like test@mailinator.com: you should see a message under the email field. The dashboard shows "Last seen on" your domain once it's working, and its test box shows what the widget would do with any address.
Webflow questions
Does it work with Webflow's native forms?
Yes. Webflow sends forms with JavaScript, and the widget checks the email before the form is sent. If the check takes longer than 1.5 seconds, the form sends anyway.
Do I need a paid Webflow plan?
Custom code in site settings needs a paid Webflow site plan. The BounceLayer free mode itself costs nothing.
What does the free mode check?
The address format, common typos (it suggests gmail.com for gmial.com), throwaway email services, and whether the domain can receive email. It doesn't check the mailbox itself; switch the key to Full for that.
Will it slow down my form?
The check runs when the form is sent and usually takes well under a second. It never waits longer than 1.5 seconds.
What does the "Protected by BounceLayer" link do?
Free keys show a small link under the email field. Full keys can turn it off in the dashboard.
